Maxwell
Scott Green was born on December 15th 1984, and he is now 24 years old.
He was born in Cincinnati Ohio; He moved from there in 4th Grade then
to Pahrump and lived there for 3 and a half years, then later moved to
Las Vegas. He has a little brother named Todd. and another older
brother named jason. He manages Bands such as The Seventh Plague,
Secrets Kept In Suicide and Witness The Forecast. He plays bass In
Escape the Fate, and also does screaming in the band. First he played
guitar but wanted to be different then all those guitar players and
switched to the bass. He writes his own music and records it that he
has yet to put out yet. The band that inspired him to play bass and
still does is The RX bandits the CD's "progress" "the resignation" and
"and the battle begun" And what inspired him to be in a band were the
famous Motley Crue, AC/DC, Metallica, and Marilyn Manson. He always
wanted to be a professional musician and did whatever he could to get
there. Amazingly he thought himself to scream, he listened to
Underoath's album "They're only chasing safety" over and over until he
got the screaming perfectly. He is endorsed with DCMA, Skelanimals and
the clothing line “Malus”. He has snake bites, a nose ring and gauges
in his ears and a whole bunch of tattoos. He is devoted to rocking out
every night and making kick ass music. He believes like the rest of the
band that ETF will make it big, still practicing the old type of Rock
N' Roll stereotype and kicking ass on stage.

In
the beginning, Escape The Fate consisted of: Max Green (Bass/Screams),
Ronnie Radke (Vocals), Omar Espinosa (Rhythm Guitar), Monte Money (Lead
Guitar), Carson Allen (Keyboard), and Robert Ortiz (Drums); That was
the original line-up. The band was started by current bass player, Max
Green and ex vocalist, Ronnie Radke. After Green and Radke both decided
to dedicate their lives to playing music, they became homeless and had
to sleep on the couches of friends' houses and whatnot. They saw this
to be their "fate". This is where the band's name comes in, because
they were playing music not only because they loved doing it, but
because they were trying to "escape their fate" so to speak. Green and
Radke both were combing through the best guitar players they could find
in Vegas, and they came across Monte Money. After that, Money
introduced them to Omar Espinosa. "They called us all into this room,
and it was amazing after that, we went into that room and everything
just connected," Money quotes in their first ever interview video.
Later after that, the band came across Robert Ortiz. The band first
created songs such as "The Structure Falls", and "Not Good Enough...”
Carson Allen wasn't in the band long though, leaving them before they
even got to their start of fame, due to personal issues(He is now in
the band On The Last Day). So, Escape the Fate went along with just a
drummer, a bassist, a vocalist, a lead guitarist, and a rhythm
guitarist, playing shows and causing havoc. One of those shows turned
out to be the starting point of their fame. This show was the one they
played when they won a radio contest and got to play a long side of
well-known mainstream rock band My Chemical Romance in early 2006.
After they played that show, their MySpace friend count blew up and
their fame arose to an unbelievable level. Soon after that, they were
signed to Epitaph Records and released their first EP called There's No
Sympathy for the Dead on May 23rd of that year. Shortly after the
release, they played a few sets at The Vans Warped Tour, taking their
heed on the Smartpunk Stage and blowing people away with their
outrageous talent. Escape The Fate was heading toward huge fame, and
they knew it. Sadly, just in the knick of their fame, Radke had to
leave the band because of his addiction with cocaine. Radke checked
himself into rehab and fans were informed of this on September 11th of
that year as well. A few weeks after Radke's temporary departure, ETF
released their first full length album Dying Is Your Latest Fashion.
Its release date was September 26th, 2006.
Max Green
Playing bass is its own reward, especially if your name is Max Green and you are playing bass in Escape The Fate. The bass player lays down the foundation for the rest of his group. Without Max, Escape the Fate
might be strumming sedate tunes and crooning about heartbreak and
insecurity. Take a look at Max and his band mates. They sound how they
look.
